Pokémon Roulette: how it works

How do you play Pokémon Roulette?
Pick a region and a trainer. A wheel picks your starter, then every step of the journey is a spin: catching Pokémon, finding items, Team Rocket, evolutions. Between adventures you battle that region's eight gym leaders, then the Elite Four and the Champion. Win them all to become Champion; lose a battle with no potions left and the run ends.
How are battles decided?
Each battle is a wheel of green (win) and red (lose) slices, and the panel above it shows the exact count. You get 1 slice, plus your team's total power, plus X Attack and type-advantage bonuses. The opponent gets slices for how far into the league you are, plus a penalty if your team is weak to their type. So a stronger, well-typed team really does win more.
What is power?
Every Pokémon has a power from 1 to 5: first stages are usually 1, middle stages 2, final stages 3, pseudo-legendaries 4 and legendaries 5. Tap any Pokémon on your team to see its power, types and what it evolves into. Evolving raises power.
What do the items do?
Potions give you extra spins when you lose a battle (Super Potion 2, Hyper Potion 3). Rare Candy evolves a Pokémon on the spot. X Attack adds your team's average power to every battle. Running Shoes give an extra adventure spin between gyms, Exp. Share makes a second Pokémon evolve, and an Escape Rope saves you from Team Rocket or getting lost — and gives an extra spin.
Can I choose anything, or is it all luck?
Mostly luck — but you choose which six Pokémon battle (swap with your PC to bring the right types), when to use Rare Candy, and once per run you can use Trainer's Choice to re-spin any wheel after seeing where it landed.
Can I challenge a friend with the same luck?
Yes. Every run has a seed, and the same seed gives the same wheels. After a run, tap Challenge a friend to copy a link — they'll face exactly the same spins.
Is my progress saved?
Your current run is saved in this browser automatically, so you can close the tab and carry on later.
